Our Team

Pastor David Hong is an ordained pastor from Evangelical Free Church of Canada. 

David's passion is seeing people meet Christ and fall in love with Him.

As 1.5-gen (or “1.7-gen”) Korean-Canadian, he knows what it’s like to be “in-between” both cultures. As bilinguals (Korean and English), he considers it a blessing and a strength as he can act as a bridge between the two cultures. He has a big heart towards the 1.5 and 2nd generation immigrants and want to help them grow and thrive in God.

David and Joanna have four children (Abby, Joshua, Grace and Asher) and a toy poodle named Ellie.

On his spare time, David enjoys playing games with his children and loves all sorts of board games.
Joanna is a librarian who likes to craft with a cup of coffee.
Ellie enjoys taking her humans out for walks.
